After few Indian movies got released in Pakistan recently, today Pakistani movie "Khuda Ke Liye" released in India. It is worth to note that Aamir Khan's magical direction debut "Tare Zameen Par" has been released in Pakistan today.

"Khuda Ke Liye" is the first Pakistani movie to be released in India. Movie's english version is named as "In the Name of God". It is highly critically acclaimed movie starring Naseeruddin Shah, Shan, Imad Ali, Fawad Khan and Rasheed Naz in the main roles.

Director Shoaib Mansoor knows exactly what he's talking about and has proven himself to be a good storey teller. The film is a storey of two brothers: Elder brother leaves Pakistan for USA to pursue his career in Music. The younger brother remains in Pakistan and becomes fundamentalist. The movie will force you to think about current dangerous situation this world faces: the world is only getting more and more divided.

The film describes the dilemma the modern Pakistani Muslims face and in large context, Muslims all over the world face the same dilemma. On the one side, there are Muslims who are extremists and fundamentalists while on the other side, there are Muslims who are liberal. If these two types of Muslims are brothers, situation like "Khuda Ke Liye" arises.

Overall it is a very well made film but don't think it will create hype in Indian theatres. The actors have done their job quite well specially, Naseeruddin Shah. But, if you don't know Urdu, it will be difficult to understand Naseeruddin's dialogues.

This movie marks a new chapter in India- Pakistan relationship which has seen a rocky ride.

Percept Picture company is distributing this movie in India.
