Its strange but its true. Now kids will be seen learning science with the help of creepy-crawly bugs. A not-for-profit organisation in US, Entomological Foundation, has developed innovative game-based multimedia content to teach science to kids through insects. A Pune based software company Harbinger Group has partnered with Entomological Foundation.

   

This product will be for the students of third and fourth grade. The mission of the Foundation is to 'to build a future for entomology by educating young people about science through insects' by offering educational interactive activities', and this mission of the Foundation will reflect with the objective of online content. April Gower, executive vice-president of the Foundation, said: 'This is a special initiative because educating children about the exciting world of insects and their role in our environment through the use of interactive multimedia activities is quite a challenging task.' Also the Foundation wants to attract kids and to teach them followed by easy instructions through fun. Furthermore, the multimedia content should load fast even in slow Internet connections for the children not to lose interest. The interactive games and e-learning activities will be available on the foundations website.
