Christmas

Although Christianity all over the world covers majority of the people all over the world, there is no exact reason why it is celebrated on the 25th of December. Beyond this there is no proper reason why it is celebrated for a week and before the day of New Year. Is there any connection between the Christmas festival and New Year. People celebrate the Christmas from 25th December to 31st December. 31st December is the last day of the year and then New Year is started.

True meaning of Christmas

CH – Jesus Christ

R – Rejoice

I – Interval from routine

S - Support

T - Togetherness

M – Merry (Be Merry)

A – Alive

S – Sin (Throw away sins, holistic approach)

Christmas is a religious holiday. Christmas is for love. It was this love for which Jesus came to this world and sacrificed his life. Jesus made changes in the world in which we are living. The true meaning of Christmas is to be enjoyed and take a break from routine. Spend time with family and friends. Eat, drink and be merry.

Where and when the Christ born? History behind it...

Mother Mary is called virgin mother. She gave a birth to the child when Mary and Joseph were not married and them just going to be together.

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that the entire world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David :)

To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, he found that Mary is going to give a birth to the child. As a righteous man Joseph decided to divorce Mary quietly. But at that time an angel came and told him that she is going to be a mother by Holy Spirit. And she would give birth to a son. An angel also told him to give name of Jesus to the son because in future his son would save people from their sins.

After this, when the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
